Nowadays, there are far too many social networks out there for any one human being to reasonably interact with. So we tend to pick our favourites and interact with people on the networks we prefer. However, when you have active accounts on more than one network, it can get a bit onerous to keep checking them all for updates.
And so the Social Aggregator was born.
While FriendFeed is probably the most well-known social aggregator, it's by far not the only choice, and there is no lack of options right now.
And so (drumroll please) here's the big list of social aggregators!

The Twitter Advertising Space Is Growing
There are now at least four companies competing for advertising dollars in the very young twitter advertising channel: IZEA, Be-A-Magpie, RevTwt, and TweetROI. Each system is quite different in terms of how the advertiser gets matched up with the twitterer (publisher). When deciding where to spend your money, consider this…
Did you get the memo? Business, and marketing, are in the process of changing fundamentally. How prepared are you as a business to survive the next 10 years?

Accept it or not, business is undergoing a grass roots revolution, proportionate in size to the impact of industrialization. In that time, many unprepared businesses went bust, unprepared for the realities of the day. A number however, able to navigate the changing landscape, were able to grow and flourish. This current day WORD-OF MOUTH revolution poses a tremendous risk to all those companies that resist change, and still want to rest on their laurels and the tried and true tactics that have carried them for years!
For several months now I have been experimenting with Linked in but until recently I was not convinced about its value for serious generating business sales leads.
Typically I would connect with a few contacts but my approach was not really successful. Coming from a sales background I kept falling into the trap of trumpeting what our company was doing without much success in building a network or getting visitors to our website.
I noticed that most of the discussion topics were similar – basically people shouting about what they could do but with a low % of discussions containing valuable content.
Let me preface this article by first clarifying that the type of social media campaigns I'm going to talk about are social content promotion on social news sites. This includes the act of creating content (or linkbait) and using social news sites like Digg, Delicious, StumbleUpon, Fark, Reddit, etc. to give it maximum visibility in order to drive large amounts of traffic to the content, and in turn, receive many links from others for it.
There is quite a bit of talk out there regarding pro sports clubs, their star athletes, their management, the sports media and whether or not some, many or any of the people working in the 'pro sports world' should be using Twitter and if so - when?, how often? and for what purpose should they actually use it?, if they should be using it at all……
Twitter is no longer just the place that people go to voice their most inane thoughts to people who couldn't care less. Nor, despite the numbers , is it simply a place for marketers to hang out and push products and content to the hungry masses.
People are using Twitter to find out about events, as they are happening, continents away. People are using Twitter to have a voice in countries where having an opinion can be illegal.
Twitter has evolved into a medium that now demands our respect.
Which is why today's outage on Twitter will spark changes in how we communicate online.
In many marketing plans, the mere mention of social media as a viable route for marketing brings strains of protests. For most people, social media networks like Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook are easy ways to keep up with the happenings of friends and family; however, for the astute marketer interested in turning clicks into conversions and ramping up SEO efforts, social media marketing is the promised land of the future.
We all know how leveraging social media marketing can help drive awareness for you, your brand, your offering and your potential solutions that help your target customers solve their problems. Still, are your social media efforts getting you where you need to be? You can blog, podcast, use twitter, linked in, facebook and others all you want, but maybe someone that you already do business with is gaining much more traction with social media marketing than you are. Maybe, they are just better at it or maybe they are a higher profile brand that has a larger following…
