All great tips. I especially like the ideas of turning down work if you can foresee problems before you start and be willing to fire a client. Just like in life, some people will try to take advantage of your relationship. You have to recognize that and stay true to yourself and your business.

Hi,

On setp 4 you need 2 profiles : the guy with the spark and the one to run it into operations. Two really different DNAs. As you present it, you're the spark in there ? :-)

Or 'First Class Johnnies' :P

Good advice!

You could add something about partnerships, and something about how you get customers coming back for more.

Hey, congrats on the new addition to your team. This 12 step list is almost identical to what I use in my business. Looks like no brainer crosses internet and into dirt world. #13 is huge, especially since so many businesses fail to do just that.
