Time is not on the side of Cuil.com, the newest behemoth search engine which is boasts searching 121,617,892,992 web pages (at time of writing this). Upon giving it a try, as anyone should, I find that it seems to be fraught with error and a graphic free-for-all for returning relevant results. Will I write it off as a non-contender? Probably not so quickly. It has definitely grabbed my attention and I will probably do comparative searches on both Google and Cuil to see what differences, and what similarities appear.

If Content is King in the world of search, then blogs are the kingdom!

Below follow 12 of the most common mistakes we find when we take over an account where the current owner(s) is (are) blogging.
A lot has been said about reputation management and social media promotion recently. Jeff did two great posts on pre-emptive reputation management and also on powerful resources that will help you “bury negative posts about you or your company“. Today I am adding a few tips on promoting your online profiles and organizing your reputation management campaign.

There are so many free tools and software programs for SEO enthusiasts that it almost becomes overwhelming and difficult to grasp the “right” tools to use in your SEO efforts. Everyone has their own personal preferences which makes this predicament even more perplexing. Yes, I purposely put as many P’s as I could in that last sentence: my name is Paul after all. (Hey I can rhyme too!)
Well enough about me and my love of words; let’s get down to business: What are some of the best free SEO tools on the web?

Cool Tools
Two weeks ago the crashing US economy, skyrocketing oil prices, as well as the general unrest in the Middle East was pushed to the bottom of the agenda when the technology blogosphere exploded with the scandal, ridiculousness and/or short sightedness of Anita Hamilton presumed suggestion that paying for iPhone software is bad. There should be free iPhone software “paid” for with ads. I mean, if they really would want money anyway, that is.
I understand you weren’t away that this has taken time away from larger world issues. Probably it hasn’t. OK, I’ll admit: it didn’t. But it did seem like that in that part of the blogoshphere though!
