How frequently do you write blog posts knowing that they’ve got a very limited shelf life, or post a news post knowing it’ll be out of date in a months time?
All the time right? Then why not make the links garnered by those posts work for for you? A 301 redirect is the best way to do so!

Focusing on long tailed keywords can deliver unexpected results. We targeted long tailed keywords back in 2005 and
now these batch of terms are delivering more than 60% of our search traffic. However, you will need to predict
phrases that might be used to find your products or services. You may wish to use trending tools to determine the
search trend for a particular product or service before deciding on the long tailed keyword.

Oh man! I’d been wondering how to do exactly this last week for my friend’s political news blog. You can bet he’s gonna hear about this plugin.

Since I changed my permalinks for better SEO on 2 of my blogs recently, I get a lot of 301. I hope this plugin will help me bring readers where they were going.

Hi, I’ve installed this plugin but get the error
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /homepages/…./ single.php:1) in /homepages/…/wp-content/plugins/wp-301redirect/wp-301redirect.php on line 54
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /homepages/…/single.php:1) in /homepages/…/wp-content/plugins/wp-301redirect/wp-301redirect.php on line 55
What should I change in code?
Thanks a lot!

That’s a great plugin for sure, i’ll probably install it on my blog because i often post a run up to events and then post after it. Would it be good to use these 301 redirects for posts that are deleted too?

Hey, I fixed the error with header. It was something wrong with php code in single.php file. I just replaced first and commando geting header - it worked.

Question on the plugin, what is the best time to set the 301 and what is the suggested use of the redirect http:// box?
Would I just put in the name of the blog or a date?

HaHa, I was searching for a plugin so I could update and 301 some old posts on my wordpress blog when I saw the face of Jeff Quipp. Plugin downloaded. You made my day!

Hi, not sure if you saw my other post, but do you have an example of how this plugin is used, what to put in the empty field area? When is a good time to set the 301?

Hi this looks like a great plug-in, but I have ran into a little problem. The plug-in activates just fine, no errors. I am able to enter a redirect address into a post and update the date. But when I go to that post it does not redirect. I’ve tried clearing the browser cache, re-activating the plug-in, but it just won’t work. Any ideas?
