Gaining Links and Rep
If you'd like to have a chance to get a few backlinks as well as increase your reputation, you might want to consider guest blogging. Being a guest blogger on another's blog can benefit you by giving you backlinks, garnering traffic, and building up your reputation (brand).
Often, bloggers will let others know that they would be willing to have guest bloggers post on their blog, so all you have to do is answer their call. However, many times bloggers just don't think to put out the call, so if you'd like to be a guest blogger on someone else's blog, go ahead and approach the blogger with the idea.

Well, normally i would take the opportunity of a post like this to let people know about a wonderful website (started by my husband and myself) called Guest-Blogger.com, which is designed to connect bloggers who are open to guest blogging.
But our hosting company has had "server issues" for a whopping 3 days in a row. And our site has been down. Poo on them.
But yes, guest blogging is a fantastic way to share traffic, gain links, and help establish yourself as an expert in your niche. Don't be afraid to offer your guest blogging services to authors and ask for gb's on your own blog! It could be a ticket to success!
Nathania, didn't realize that was your site! I had actually planned to link to it in my post, but since it was down for so long, I thought it had disappeared. But yes, everyone, if it comes back online, do check it out.
