Kevin Gibbons: Search Blogger of the Day

This is one of a series of posts in which I will be highlighting each member of the Search Bloggers list, with commentary on one of their posts (new or old). Look for this series to continue once or twice a week for the next couple of months.

Meet Kevin Gibbons, the Search Blogger of the Day. Today I'd like to highlight a post entitled Travel PPC: 10 Ways to Improve Your Google AdWords Campaign. Kevin highlights 10 tips from a Comscore study on running a travel PPC campaign. There are some really interesting facts in there that I certainly didn't know, and I'd bet some of you didn't either. Want to know what they are? You'll need to jump on over to the post to find out. :) Ok, ok, I'll give one hint: 30% of purchases occur more than (a certain amount of time) after the initial search. How much time? Go read the post for that answer and a lot more.

If you want to know more about today's Search Blogger of the Day, check out Kevin's about page.

That's the Search Blogger of the Day. If you are a search blogger, and aren't on the list yet, go here to find out how to be included. I plan to promote everyone on the list in various ways. Some will be informative, and some will be just plain fun. Don't miss out.

Kevin's article is fantastic because he provides real data. There's nothing better than seeing legitimate metrics. Although it isn't always clear what's the driving the numbers, at least you have a place to start. Thanks again Donna for another great post.
