Personally I am up to around 5k monthly for one of my sites and others sitting around 1k monthly. I see your point with increasing CTR's, but using your example with the Iceland music schene wouldn't the best way be to create the main blog or site on Icelands music schene then attempt to rank well for the icelandic rappers schene on a sub page or a blog post. I feel squidoo lenses, hub pages, articles, are the way to go when trying to rank for a long tailed keyword which has no competition. Anyway excellent post that was a ton of info I am still trying to soak it all in. I think I will read a couple more posts.
