Our rapid growth has created the need to expand our Sales team with the addition of ten Sales Representatives. These positions will work out of our Ajax location.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible to: VP Business Development

External relationships: Clients; including key marketing contact and technical contacts

Internal relationships: Senior Management, Account Management team, SEOs, PPC and Social Media teams

Compensation: Base + commission. Top performers can expect to earn $100k+ Benefits plan.

Main duties of the job

  • Consistently meet or exceed aggressive sales goals, demonstrating focused sales efforts, an understanding of Search Engine Peoples products and an understanding of the internet advertising environment.
  • Identify and Develop new business opportunities including:
    • Prepare client proposals, negotiate client retainer and prepare client contract
    • Represent SEP and speak at industry events and tradeshows
  • Work to increase operational efficiency of account team by planning and implementing efficient processes and systems within the account team
  • Promote SEP professionalism through manner, appearance and delivery and always keeping promises

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of sales/marketing/advertising experience
  • Strong understanding of Internet & Search Engine advertising
  • Proven ability to attain and exceed sales quotas
  • Ability to maintain a high level of new business sales activity in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong closing skills, work ethic and the ability to work independently
  • Work history that includes selling or professional account management of high dollar accounts
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding computer skills including solid knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel), word processing (MS Word)
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment quickly and easily
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
