Tucson Ranks Amongst Most Expensive Markets for Keywords in Rocky Mountain States

SEP's ongoing research into PPC Campaigns has revealed that Tucson was the 13rd most expensive city in Rocky Mountain States in keyword bids in Google Adwords for the month of April 2015. Tucson also ranks amongst the most expensive cities in Arizona, ranking 2nd. In the study, Ann Arbour ranked as the most expensive city in Rocky Mountain States for keywords, while Lincoln ranked as the least expensive city.

SEP's research shows that the average price of a click to advertisers targeting Tucson keywords increased by 11% in April 2015.

Google Adwords Keyword Prices 33% Higher in Tucson than Chandler

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Tucson are 33% higher than in Chandler. The average price of a click in Tucson is $17.99.

This price difference is understandable though, given the population of Chandler is less than Tucson, which generally means less competition and therefore lower prices.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.
