Fairfield Ranks Amongst Least Expensive Markets for Google Adwords in USA

SEP's ongoing research into PPC Campaigns has revealed that Fairfield was the 256th least expensive city in USA in keyword bids in Google Adwords for the month of May 2016. Fairfield also ranks amongst the least expensive cities in California, ranking as number 63rd. In the study, San Buenaventura ranked as the most expensive city in the country, while Ontario ranked as the least expensive city.

Month over Month Google Adwords Prices for Fairfield Rise in May 2016

SEP's research shows that the average price of a click to advertisers targeting Fairfield keywords increased by 12% in May 2016.

Not surprisingly, the month over month price increases for Fairfield Google Adwords terms helped increase prices (yr./yr. price increase)% higher than the same period last year.

Google Adwords Keyword Prices 22% Lower in Fairfield than Vallejo

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Fairfield are 22% lower than in Vallejo. The average price of a click in Fairfield is $6.20.

This price differential is expected however, as Vallejo has a larger population than Fairfield.

For better comparison of prices, we also compared prices with another city with a similar population, Lansing, and found the average price of a click in Fairfield was 30% lower than in Lansing.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.

The study illustrates the Average Price-Per-Click in a given city for select Industries and their related segments. Additionally, it reveals its current rank to other markets in a Country, Province, and its Month over Month % Price change.

This PPC study monitors the prices of keywords, number of advertisers competing for those keywords, and search volumes. To ensure relative market-to-market comparison keywords tracked are based on sufficient search volumes in all markets studied.
