Huntington Beach Ranks Amongst Least Expensive Markets for Google Adwords in USA

SEP's ongoing research into PPC Campaigns has revealed that Huntington Beach was the 133rd least expensive city in USA in keyword bids in Google Adwords for the month of May 2016. Huntington Beach also ranks amongst the least expensive cities in California, ranking as number 33rd. In the study, San Buenaventura ranked as the most expensive city in the country, while Ontario ranked as the least expensive city.

SEP's research shows that the average price of a click to advertisers targeting Huntington Beach keywords increased by (Yr/Yr increase %)% versus the same keywords one year earlier.

Google Adwords Keyword Prices 8% Lower in Huntington Beach than Costa Mesa

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Huntington Beach are 8% lower than in Costa Mesa. The average price of a click in Huntington Beach is $11.37.

This price difference is interesting though, given the population of Costa Mesa is less than Huntington Beach.

To understand if prices in Huntington Beach align relatively, we also compared prices with Little Rock, which has a similar population, and found the average price of a click in Huntington Beach was 24% higher than in Little Rock.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.

This PPC study monitors the prices of keywords, number of advertisers competing for those keywords, and search volumes. To ensure relative market-to-market comparison keywords tracked are based on sufficient search volumes in all markets studied.
