Rancho Cucamonga Ranks Amongst Least Expensive Markets for Google Adwords in USA

SEP's ongoing research into PPC Campaigns has revealed that Rancho Cucamonga was the 64th least expensive city in USA in keyword bids in Google Adwords for the month of December 2014. Rancho Cucamonga also ranks amongst the least expensive cities in California, ranking as number 13rd. In the study, San Buenaventura ranked as the most expensive city in the country, while Manchester ranked as the least expensive city.

SEP's research shows that the average price of a click to advertisers targeting Rancho Cucamonga keywords increased by 11% in December 2014.

Google Adwords Keyword Prices 12% Higher in Rancho Cucamonga than Ontario

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Rancho Cucamonga are 12% higher than in Ontario. The average price of a click in Rancho Cucamonga is $14.34.

This price difference is understandable though, given the population of Ontario is less than Rancho Cucamonga, which generally means less competition and therefore lower prices.

To understand if prices in Rancho Cucamonga are relatively low, we also compared prices with Port St. Lucie which has a similar population, and found the average price of a click in Rancho Cucamonga was 42% higher than in Port St. Lucie. This suggests that perhaps Rancho Cucamonga prices are not relatively low.

An ongoing PPC Study by Search Engine People tracks and monitors how paid search in North America’s Top Cities is changing over time for select industries.

The study illustrates the Average Price-Per-Click in a given city for select Industries and their related segments. Additionally, it reveals its current rank to other markets in a Country, Province, and its Month over Month % Price change.

This PPC study monitors the prices of keywords, number of advertisers competing for those keywords, and search volumes. To ensure relative market-to-market comparison keywords tracked are based on sufficient search volumes in all markets studied.
