Jacksonville Ranks Amongst Most Expensive Markets for Keywords in South Atlantic

SEP's ongoing research into PPC Campaigns has revealed that Jacksonville was the 9th most expensive city in South Atlantic in keyword bids in Google Adwords for the month of September 2016. Jacksonville also ranks amongst the most expensive cities in Florida, ranking 7th. In the study, Miami Gardens ranked as the most expensive city in South Atlantic for keywords, while Tallahassee ranked as the least expensive city.

Year over Year Google Adwords Prices for Jacksonville are up in September 2016

SEP's research shows that the average price of a click to advertisers targeting Jacksonville keywords increased by (Yr/Yr increase %)% versus the same keywords one year earlier.

Google Adwords Keyword Prices 69% Higher in Jacksonville than Gainesville

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Jacksonville are 69% higher than in Gainesville. The average price of a click in Jacksonville is $18.28.

This price difference is understandable though, given the population of Gainesville is less than Jacksonville, which generally means less competition and therefore lower prices.

To understand if prices in Jacksonville are relatively low, we also compared prices with San Francisco which has a similar population, and found the average price of a click in Jacksonville was 6% higher than in San Francisco. This suggests that perhaps Jacksonville prices are not relatively low.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.

The study illustrates the Average Price-Per-Click in a given city for select Industries and their related segments. Additionally, it reveals its current rank to other markets in a Country, Province, and its Month over Month % Price change.
