Google Adwords Keyword Prices 12% Higher in Joliet than Naperville

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Joliet are 12% higher than in Naperville. The average price of a click in Joliet is $15.52.

This price difference is understandable though, given the population of Naperville is less than Joliet, which generally means less competition and therefore lower prices.

To understand if prices in Joliet are relatively low, we also compared prices with Sunnyvale which has a similar population, and found the average price of a click in Joliet was 57% higher than in Sunnyvale. This suggests that perhaps Joliet prices are not relatively low.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.
