Google Adwords Keyword Prices 9% Higher in Worcester than Cambridge

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Worcester are 9% higher than in Cambridge. The average price of a click in Worcester is $6.16.

This price difference is understandable though, given the population of Cambridge is less than Worcester, which generally means less competition and therefore lower prices.

To get a better sense of relative prices, we also compared prices with another city of equal population, Newport News, and found the average price of a click in Worcester was 46% lower than in Newport News. This suggests that perhaps prices in Worcester are relatively low.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.
