Albuquerque Ranks Amongst Least Expensive Markets for Google Adwords in USA

SEP's ongoing research into PPC Campaigns has revealed that Albuquerque was the 76th least expensive city in USA in keyword bids in Google Adwords for the month of September 2016. Albuquerque also ranks amongst the least expensive cities in New Mexico, ranking as number 1st. In the study, San Buenaventura ranked as the most expensive city in the country, while Ontario ranked as the least expensive city.

Year over Year Google Adwords Prices for Albuquerque are up in September 2016

SEP's research shows that the average price of a click to advertisers targeting Albuquerque keywords increased by (Yr/Yr increase %)% versus the same keywords one year earlier.

Google Adwords Keyword Prices 35% Higher in Albuquerque than Las Cruces

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Albuquerque are 35% higher than in Las Cruces. The average price of a click in Albuquerque is $15.26.

This price difference is understandable though, given the population of Las Cruces is less than Albuquerque, which generally means less competition and therefore lower prices.

To get a better sense of relative prices, we also compared prices with another city of equal population, Milwaukee, and found the average price of a click in Albuquerque was 8% lower than in Milwaukee. This suggests that perhaps prices in Albuquerque are relatively low.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.
