SEP's research shows that the average price of a click to advertisers targeting Columbus keywords increased by 10% in July 2015.

Google Adwords Keyword Prices 52% Higher in Columbus than Dayton

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Columbus are 52% higher than in Dayton. The average price of a click in Columbus is $11.88.

This price difference is understandable though, given the population of Dayton is less than Columbus, which generally means less competition and therefore lower prices.

To get a better sense of relative prices, we also compared prices with another city of equal population, Charlotte, and found the average price of a click in Columbus was 34% lower than in Charlotte. This suggests that perhaps prices in Columbus are relatively low.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.
