Google Adwords Keyword Prices 33% Higher in Carrollton than Richardson

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Carrollton are 33% higher than in Richardson. The average price of a click in Carrollton is $12.30.

This price difference is understandable though, given the population of Richardson is less than Carrollton, which generally means less competition and therefore lower prices.

To understand if prices in Carrollton are relatively low, we also compared prices with Coral Springs which has a similar population, and found the average price of a click in Carrollton was 25% higher than in Coral Springs. This suggests that perhaps Carrollton prices are not relatively low.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.
