Irving Ranks Amongst Least Expensive Markets for Google Adwords in USA

SEP's ongoing research into PPC Campaigns has revealed that Irving was the 142nd least expensive city in USA in keyword bids in Google Adwords for the month of September 2014. Irving also ranks amongst the least expensive cities in Texas, ranking as number 18th. In the study, San Buenaventura ranked as the most expensive city in the country, while Ontario ranked as the least expensive city.

Google Adwords Keyword Prices 8% Higher in Irving than Grand Prairie

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Irving are 8% higher than in Grand Prairie. The average price of a click in Irving is $9.29.

This price difference is understandable though, given the population of Grand Prairie is less than Irving, which generally means less competition and therefore lower prices.

To get a better sense of relative prices, we also compared prices with another city of equal population, Baton Rouge, and found the average price of a click in Irving was 36% lower than in Baton Rouge. This suggests that perhaps prices in Irving are relatively low.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.
