Google Adwords Keyword Prices 59% Higher in Midland than Odessa

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Midland are 59% higher than in Odessa. The average price of a click in Midland is $12.00.

This price difference is understandable though, given the population of Odessa is less than Midland, which generally means less competition and therefore lower prices.

To understand if prices in Midland are relatively low, we also compared prices with Hayward which has a similar population, and found the average price of a click in Midland was 44% higher than in Hayward. This suggests that perhaps Midland prices are not relatively low.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.
