Waco Ranks Amongst Least Expensive Markets for Google Adwords in USA

SEP's ongoing research into PPC Campaigns has revealed that Waco was the 92nd least expensive city in USA in keyword bids in Google Adwords for the month of September 2016. Waco also ranks amongst the least expensive cities in Texas, ranking as number 12nd. In the study, San Buenaventura ranked as the most expensive city in the country, while Ontario ranked as the least expensive city.

SEP's research shows that the average price of a click to advertisers targeting Waco keywords increased by 14% in September 2016.

Not surprisingly, the month over month price increases for Waco Google Adwords terms helped increase prices (yr./yr. price increase)% higher than the same period last year.

Google Adwords Keyword Prices 39% Higher in Waco than Killeen

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Waco are 39% higher than in Killeen. The average price of a click in Waco is $14.14.

This price differential is somewhat surprising however, as Killeen has a larger population than Waco.

To get a better sense of relative prices, we also compared prices with another city with a similar population, Thousand Oaks, and found the average price of a click in Waco was 17% higher than in Thousand Oaks.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.
