Temecula Ranks Amongst Most Expensive Markets for Keywords in Pacific States

SEP's ongoing research into PPC Campaigns has revealed that Temecula was the 14th most expensive city in Pacific States in keyword bids in Google Adwords for the month of August 2016. Temecula also ranks amongst the most expensive cities in California, ranking 11th. In the study, San Buenaventura ranked as the most expensive city in Pacific States for keywords, while Modesto ranked as the least expensive city.

SEP's research shows that the average price of a click to advertisers targeting Temecula keywords increased by 10% in August 2016.

Not surprisingly, the month over month price increases for Temecula Google Adwords terms helped increase prices (yr./yr. price increase)% higher than the same period last year.

Google Adwords Keyword Prices 76% Higher in Temecula than Murrieta

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Temecula are 76% higher than in Murrieta. The average price of a click in Temecula is $17.08.

This price differential is somewhat surprising however, as Murrieta has a larger population than Temecula.

To get a better sense of relative prices, we also compared prices with another city with a similar population, Norwalk, and found the average price of a click in Temecula was 136% higher than in Norwalk.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.

The study illustrates the Average Price-Per-Click in a given city for select Industries and their related segments. Additionally, it reveals its current rank to other markets in a Country, Province, and its Month over Month % Price change.

This PPC study monitors the prices of keywords, number of advertisers competing for those keywords, and search volumes. To ensure relative market-to-market comparison keywords tracked are based on sufficient search volumes in all markets studied.
