Colorado Springs Ranks Amongst Most Expensive Markets for Google Adwords in USA

SEP's ongoing research into PPC Campaigns has revealed that Colorado Springs was the 9th most expensive city in USA in keyword bids in Google Adwords for the month of September 2016. Colorado Springs also ranks amongst the most expensive cities in Colorado, ranking as 3rd. In the study, San Buenaventura ranked as the most expensive city in the country, while Ontario ranked as the least expensive city.

Year over Year Google Adwords Prices for Colorado Springs are up in September 2016

SEP's research shows that the average price of a click to advertisers targeting Colorado Springs keywords increased by (Yr/Yr increase %)% versus the same keywords one year earlier.

Google Adwords Keyword Prices 236% Higher in Colorado Springs than Pueblo

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Colorado Springs are 236% higher than in Pueblo. The average price of a click in Colorado Springs is $21.79.

This price difference is understandable though, given the population of Pueblo is less than Colorado Springs, which generally means less competition and therefore lower prices.

To understand if prices in Colorado Springs are relatively low, we also compared prices with Kansas City which has a similar population, and found the average price of a click in Colorado Springs was 19% higher than in Kansas City. This suggests that perhaps Colorado Springs prices are not relatively low.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.
