Naperville Ranks Amongst Most Expensive Markets for Keywords in Rocky Mountain States

SEP's ongoing research into PPC Campaigns has revealed that Naperville was the 19th most expensive city in Rocky Mountain States in keyword bids in Google Adwords for the month of March 2015. Naperville also ranks amongst the most expensive cities in Illinois, ranking 2nd. In the study, Ann Arbour ranked as the most expensive city in Rocky Mountain States for keywords, while Fort Wayne ranked as the least expensive city.

Google Adwords Keyword Prices 7% Higher in Naperville than Aurora

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Naperville are 7% higher than in Aurora. The average price of a click in Naperville is $15.13.

This price differential is somewhat surprising however, as Aurora has a larger population than Naperville.

To get a better sense of relative prices, we also compared prices with another city with a similar population, Syracuse, and found the average price of a click in Naperville was 77% higher than in Syracuse.

The study illustrates the Average Price-Per-Click in a given city for select Industries and their related segments. Additionally, it reveals its current rank to other markets in a Country, Province, and its Month over Month % Price change.

This PPC study monitors the prices of keywords, number of advertisers competing for those keywords, and search volumes. To ensure relative market-to-market comparison keywords tracked are based on sufficient search volumes in all markets studied.
