Google Adwords Keyword Prices 237% Higher in Yonkers than Paterson

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Yonkers are 237% higher than in Paterson. The average price of a click in Yonkers is $7.31.

This price difference is understandable though, given the population of Paterson is less than Yonkers, which generally means less competition and therefore lower prices.

To get a better sense of relative prices, we also compared prices with another city of equal population, Aurora, and found the average price of a click in Yonkers was 47% lower than in Aurora. This suggests that perhaps prices in Yonkers are relatively low.
