Yonkers Ranks Amongst Least Expensive Markets for Google Adwords in USA

SEP's ongoing research into PPC Campaigns has revealed that Yonkers was the 269th least expensive city in USA in keyword bids in Google Adwords for the month of December 2014. Yonkers also ranks amongst the least expensive cities in New York, ranking as number 10th. In the study, San Buenaventura ranked as the most expensive city in the country, while Manchester ranked as the least expensive city.

Google Adwords Keyword Prices 77% Higher in Yonkers than Paterson

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Yonkers are 77% higher than in Paterson. The average price of a click in Yonkers is $4.70.

This price difference is understandable though, given the population of Paterson is less than Yonkers, which generally means less competition and therefore lower prices.

To get a better sense of relative prices, we also compared prices with another city of equal population, Aurora, and found the average price of a click in Yonkers was 66% lower than in Aurora. This suggests that perhaps prices in Yonkers are relatively low.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.
