Arlington Ranks Amongst Most Expensive Markets for Keywords in West South Central

SEP's ongoing research into PPC Campaigns has revealed that Arlington was the 5th most expensive city in West South Central in keyword bids in Google Adwords for the month of June 2016. Arlington also ranks amongst the most expensive cities in Texas, ranking 5th. In the study, Carrollton ranked as the most expensive city in West South Central for keywords, while El Paso ranked as the least expensive city.

SEP's research shows that the average price of a click to advertisers targeting Arlington keywords increased by 25% in June 2016.

Not surprisingly, the month over month price increases for Arlington Google Adwords terms helped increase prices (yr./yr. price increase)% higher than the same period last year.

Google Adwords Keyword Prices 162% Higher in Arlington than Grand Prairie

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Arlington are 162% higher than in Grand Prairie. The average price of a click in Arlington is $20.89.

This price difference is understandable though, given the population of Grand Prairie is less than Arlington, which generally means less competition and therefore lower prices.

To understand if prices in Arlington are relatively low, we also compared prices with New Orleans which has a similar population, and found the average price of a click in Arlington was 17% higher than in New Orleans. This suggests that perhaps Arlington prices are not relatively low.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.
