Lubbock Ranks Amongst Least Expensive Markets for Google Adwords in USA

SEP's ongoing research into PPC Campaigns has revealed that Lubbock was the 177th least expensive city in USA in keyword bids in Google Adwords for the month of September 2016. Lubbock also ranks amongst the least expensive cities in Texas, ranking as number 21st. In the study, San Buenaventura ranked as the most expensive city in the country, while Ontario ranked as the least expensive city.

SEP's research shows that the average price of a click to advertisers targeting Lubbock keywords increased by 16% in September 2016.

Not surprisingly, the month over month price increases for Lubbock Google Adwords terms helped increase prices (yr./yr. price increase)% higher than the same period last year.

Google Adwords Keyword Prices 0% Lower in Lubbock than Mesquite

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Lubbock are 0% lower than in Mesquite. The average price of a click in Lubbock is $10.15.

This price difference is interesting though, given the population of Mesquite is less than Lubbock.

To get a better sense of relative prices, we also compared prices with another similarly sized city, Jersey City, and found the average price of a click in Lubbock was 20% lower than in Jersey City.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.
