Round Rock Ranks Amongst Most Expensive Markets for Keywords in West South Central

SEP's ongoing research into PPC Campaigns has revealed that Round Rock was the 12nd most expensive city in West South Central in keyword bids in Google Adwords for the month of September 2016. Round Rock also ranks amongst the most expensive cities in Texas, ranking 9th. In the study, Austin ranked as the most expensive city in West South Central for keywords, while El Paso ranked as the least expensive city.

SEP's research shows that the average price of a click to advertisers targeting Round Rock keywords increased by (Yr/Yr increase %)% versus the same keywords one year earlier.

Google Adwords Keyword Prices 69% Higher in Round Rock than Killeen

SEP’s research also tracks Google Adwords price changes and trends in cities across Canada and the U.S. Recent data shows that average prices in Round Rock are 69% higher than in Killeen. The average price of a click in Round Rock is $17.21.

This price differential is somewhat surprising however, as Killeen has a larger population than Round Rock.

To get a better sense of relative prices, we also compared prices with another city with a similar population, Clearwater, and found the average price of a click in Round Rock was 30% higher than in Clearwater.

The Price Rank shows how expensive keywords are in certain industry and segment relative to other cities in a country, region and province.

This PPC study monitors the prices of keywords, number of advertisers competing for those keywords, and search volumes. To ensure relative market-to-market comparison keywords tracked are based on sufficient search volumes in all markets studied.
