The SEO/SEM $1,000 (er, Talent) Contest

by The Guy.

Attention: All creative types; talentless hacks; singers of shower diddies.

Search Engine People is pleased to announce the first annual ever SEO lyric contest.

It's simple. Submit a song worth sixpence $1,000. That's right. You heard it here first, unless this puppy's already gone viral.

Submit a search-relate lyric to your favorite song and it could be worth $1,000. There are, of course, official rules… and they can be found here .

What else do you need to know? Oh, yeah, the $1,000 is U.S.

And just so everything's on the up and up, employees of SearchEnginePeople.com are not eligible to win. (Well, there's my entry…It Sucks To Be Me from Avenue Q.) Neither is Weird Al… too much of a competitive advantage.

Think that's about it. Contest closes June 30, 2007, midnight your time whereever you are.

Have fun. And now, click here to enter the first annual ever SEO/SEM lyrics contest.

Have a good one.

~The (SEP) Guy

PS - If anyone's looking for me, I'll be at the bar trying to rhyme orange.
