I’m seeing a problem with the idea of 2000+ word posts in that even though Google likes content, many people still have minimal attention spans, and if they want quick answers, they’re not going to care about reading pages of content. If you coat a simple answer to a question in 2000 words of content made to be long just for seo purposes, there is a chance you’re going to lose readers.

When I started blogging (not that long ago) I found it hard to write 500 good quality words. Now It’s easy. I’m sure once I’m in the habit of writing long pieces it’ll become just as easy. Thanks for the heads up. Now to do some research.
