Ok building links is good for your ranking and authority. Is this the same with "trackbacks" to your blog.

I have been stressing about this topic and still am not certain if I should allow trackbacks to my blog or not. I find myselve screening every single trackback and am a bit scared to accept them.

What is your opinion on this? do we need to treat them as backlinks...?

I can’t remember where I read it but I think sharing your content through the various social media sites also helps get your site indexed quicker. I think you just have to do everything you can, in the right way, and it will happen sooner rather than later.. What do you say Paul?

Good advice, well, it certainly sounds that way. Perhaps some more on sitemaps and their importance... or unimportance? would be valuable.

Another great way to get your posts indexed by Google is to create what Darren Rowse from ProBlogger calls a "Sneeze Page". Basically you create static pages around a theme or concept, and display similar posts from your blog on that page. Featuring that sneeze page on your side bar or homepage will help put those posts to the forefront of your blog.
