I don’t accept guest posts anymore because the ones that I got were not to my liking and it wasn’t that easy to say no to someone who spends writing a post for your blog.

As you know, we love our guest authors at AboutUs.org, and we work carefully with each author to get the article just right for our audience. You are so right about being able to tell almost immediately if someone has been reading our articles – and also if they haven’t. I like the idea of posting clear guidelines, and I think I’m going to take that idea and run with it. Thanks very much for that suggestion.

So many people have knowledge of things I don’t know as it pertains to my topic that it can’t help but enhance things.
