WordPress has made an impact on many websites with its built-in clean design and easy to follow navigation. However, even with a good start like that some websites still have usability issues. Too many graphics or busy backgrounds clutter the page, slowing down loading times. Good to remember that less is more.

There are a lot of other things which form the basis of strong navigation and a visually-good website, but your post covers the basics well!
