I have most definitely used AWR, but in desktop form, which is why I moved away from them and RankTracker. I just registered for their new cloud service to see how it is. Pricing looks pretty reasonable.

Hi Phil,

I agree completely, Scrapebox amazes me each and every day with what it can do. As for Google Alerts, I do notice some glitches. The same issue holds true for some of my RSS feeds. I guess these are some of the downsides that come with a free tool 🙂

I’m pretty satisfied still with Google Alerts but do notice some weird stuff. Two rare searches won’t trigger alerts at times while there *are* new results. Those same 2 will also reset sometimes and generate a bunch of alerts from old content.

Agreed, Scrapebox is an awesome tool. I bought it to do one minor thing and wound up using it for hundreds of things from keyword research to snapping up aged PR domains. In fact i use it so much i rarely shut it down, it never ceases to amaze me with what it can do.

With Google Alerts, are yours really intermittent lately? I’ve had the same alerts setup for years, and now i rarely get emails yet there’s thousands of fresh results for the keyword in Google.
