Donna, can you please recommend a SEO company to me. There are so many. I have a nice website but I am mot getting any business. The category of shopping that my we site is in is so expensive to advertise. I do don know where to start. I have wasted $7,000 so far. Please help me.

Have you considered creating an ebook called SEO 101 Tips? With a few illustrations you could make life easier for people learning SEO. Most ebook are wordy and hard. Your lesson goes right to the point.

Now this is the stuff I subscribe to blogs for, great job Donna.

If I may ask, which SEO forums might you suggest (1 or 2) for a non-techie just starting but really eager to learn SEO newbie.

I believe I know more then most “newbie” SEO’s, but still a newbie as far as I’m concerned….and definitely non-techie all around LOL

Mark, you certainly don’t have to use a robots.txt file that allows all, but if you do, then you do avoid having log files filling up with 404 errors. Minor point, but a point nevertheless.

Point 2 of the article mentions putting in a robots.txt file. What is the point of putting a robots.txt file in that allows all pages? Its like writing to your mail order company asking them not to send you any wares
