@CT – We lean heavily on trade pubs for building Ontolo’s business (as well as links). And for B2B clients I agree that they are excellent places to attempt to publish content! They don’t always call themselves “trade pubs” though so sometimes you have to get sluethy in how you find them.

Great call on the trade publications. It’s remarkable how often they’re overlooked as a potential place to network, guest post, and/or get a link. And the best part is that they’re often grateful for having “expert” pieces submitted.

I hate submitting to link directories. The recommendation of submitting to niche link directories represent a large chunk of very unpleasant work.
