Being receptive to new ideas is a must in order to develop your strategy in this ever-changing field of SEO.

I also agree with Aahna that branding is going to be a major factor in 2014, especially after hummingbird and content marketing being vital for the promotion of your brand.

I would like to include being active in social networks, especially Google+, and early indications show that it is having a positive impact on SEO.
