A good service to monitor a Twitter hashtag is www.tweet-tag.com. You can monitor your hashtag and get data and statistics in real-time about participation, tweets and the audience. Also, you can see the words most used. And finally, keep and consult the monitoring when completed. I hope you like it and you find it useful. Thanks.

May I also suggest that the free and open NodeXL application is a useful way to summarize a hashtag or any collection of tweets. The Network Overview Discovery and Exploration add-in for Excel is an easy-to-use social media network analysis tool for visualizing the connections among people who tweet about a common topic or hashtag. The tool is freely available from http://nodexl.codeplex.com and a collection of maps created with NodeXL is available at http://nodexlgraphgallery.org. Using NodeXL it is a simple matter to gain an overview of a population of people who tweet about a shared topic and to identify the key people and sub-groups that make up the population. Text analysis feature highlight key phrases, terms, URLs, and hashtags in use in the community.

Ann, what I particularly love about these Twitter tools is that some can do a lot more than just follow or analyse a particular hash tag.

I find it very useful to have a tool that can post on your behalf couple of times per day! Wonderful! Thank you for the list!
