Hi Chris,

I've never really focused my effort towards creating YouTube videos. But, recently, I mustered enough courage to record and upload a video of me describing the pros and cons of a WordPress plugin. And I must admit that I took no care of the optimization affairs of the video!

And naturally, the video didn't fared well, views wise. Along with views, the comments also have been very low. I think there wouldn't have been any comment at all had my good friends not left their opinions there :)

Now I realize what the video really missed. I never really addressed some of the SEO aspects at all! Like- using right tags, offline link building etc.

Guess I'll hit it right with my next video! Informative article!

I love video marketing and it's a quintessential element for every small business and a competitive advantage. U blogged about my latest interview on this very topic.

Tip for Step 1, So I'll call it Step 1B

In first line of description – key elements include:
Website link http:// not just “www”)
Phone number (toll-free / local number)

Unless of course you don't want people to visit your website and hire you!

TIP: Search Engine People hasn't done this on their own latest video... but the content is fantastic!
