I use quotas and amazing picture mix with day by day presence on facebook and the result was amazing.

Not a dumb question at all. The last time I tested this both the content on my site and the pdf on an external site were indexed and ranking fairly well. The pdf version even gained some nice PR. That was earlier this year and a lot has changed since then though. In fact, a lot has changed since I first wrote this post 2 weeks ago! 🙂

Here’s the latest I’ve heard from Google’s mouth about it: http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/021584.html, but of course take it with a grain of salt (not to mention its two years old).
