If you are not allying with g oogle then you should be
prone to manual lowering of your sites’s pr.

That means doing no evil to allies.

I also noticed that MySpace lost its PR.

After that I began observing more carefully, and am shocked at the big sites that mysteriously lost all their page rank.

We are seeing sites go from PR 7 or 6 – to PR 0,
not being dropped down slightly… just booted.

I find it quite unsettling, like changing the rules in the middle of the game, but not announcing what the new rules are.

It would not make sense for Google to do so, there is nothing fishy about the link popularity of Digg.

Even linkedwords.com, the huge contextual platform known to have tens of thousands of contextual links in – supposed to have a really high PR – had its PR zeroed; it is either change in the Google’s algorithms or a temporary situation…

…hope it’s not a “permanent cleansing” for one of our sites. Went from PR6 to PR0 (even though we’re still PR6 at 24 datacenters). The big concern is that our SERP for important keywords also has gone from 4 to not being in the top 100.

Guess we’ll wait and see.

…or they’re making every page’s PR read 0 before the green bar gets the boot at last. Cause a bit of a stir first LOL and give those PR-promising SEOs a last chance to make a quick buck.

I see this happening on a lot of sites. It’s almost like a cleansing before the new PR takes effect.

Hm, Myspace.com seems to be losing it as well on many datacenters.
