Directory Maximizer submitted my site to about 400 directories. Six months later, very few of them show up in Google when I query by website name–I mean less than 5 or them. Directory Maximizer in my mind is not only a waste of money, but it also puts your website at risk by giving you links from potentially bad neighborhoods which may or may not hurt you – depending on who you ask.

Although I don’t think I got a link for every submission, more like 1 for every 2 to 3 submissions but that’s supposed to be normal since I don’t think all directories approve sites anyway. For the low cost per link acquisition, I thought it was worth it.
