It really is applicable to any website out there, be it an e-commerce site or blog. Unfortunately too many “SEOs” still push “traffic, traffic, traffic” and never even talk about ROI.

Totally one-hundred percent agreed with points 1 and 3, which are especially and particularly applicant to eCommerce setups. As for point no 5, it is just as applicable to eCommerce websites as any website out there. Cannot stress the importance of getting targeted traffic, with the word ‘targeted’ being key here! Thanks for a great, informative and well-written post!

I’m learning all this stuff for the first time now that I have an eBook that I’m marketing. I never worried about eCommerce issues now it’s a big part of what I do.

Very different from blogging for education or services…
