The Responsys report does not seem to be a disinterested report without any conflict of interest, since the company engages in Internet Marketing as part of their core business. Meanwhile, the Neilsen report only says &quot;it’s perfectly logical that as people make connections though social media, they maintain those connections outside of the specific platform and may extend those connections to email, a phone conversation or even in-person meetings.&quot; To me, &quot;perfectly logical&quot; does not necessarily mean &quot;actually real and observable,&quot; so for me, it doesn&#039;t express a direct connection between social media users and Internet marketing.]]></description>
