Hi Hazel,

Yes, from a consumer standpoint, Google Places is no more. It now directs you to Google+ Local. However, from a back-end standpoint (i.e. setting up your business), it&#039;s still using the Google Places interface. Probably good they didn&#039;t change everything at once.

One other point that goes along with what you&#039;re saying is that you do want to go ahead and make sure you have a Google+ brand page for your business with a link to it from your website to make sure that Google gets the full picture of your business.
