I downloaded Flock awhile ago, but haven't really used it. I think I grabbed the download before I was interested in social media and so didn't see a reason to switch.

The only thing preventing me from using it now is a reliance on a lit of Firefox plugins. I suppose I should see what will and won't work with Flock and decide if the trade off is worth it.

I'll probably stick with Firefox, because I do like it a lot, but I'm always open to new things so you never know,

I've been using Flock on a Mac for the last year. The newest version has a busier interface than I like, but they did add some nice features.

I switched to Flock from Firefox after FF quit working for me. I have not had the same memory leakage issues I had with FF either. Many, but not all of the Firefox Plugins will work with Flock although I tend not to use many. I do like the fact that Google is not the default search engine (Yahoo is) and that you can add your own search engines plus change the default.

I don't use the social aspects of Flock much but I like it and it is worth trying.

I was using Flock a lot for a few months. They did make it really easy to use Flickr, and that was the main reason I was using it, but after a while, I started having withdrawal systems from not being able to use all of the plugins that I had gotten used to with Firefox.

I was using version .7 before, and now they are up to .9, soI suppose it's time to give Flock another shot.
