I definitely agree with the tip about analytics - you can get some great ideas for keywords that you would never have thought of otherwise just by looking through the reports created by whatever tracking tools you use on your site.

Kamila,

I have learnt something. I always tell my customers to go for buying keywords, however you have pointed out that people will often search there problem not just there solution. Your example of "appendix misdiagnosis". I guess some people don't know where to start so they start with there problem.

Thanks

Great post Kamila. I think that people get so caught up in the "big traffic" cycle that they can easily forget about actually converting (which is the real goal (at least, it should be)).

One thing I would add is using your awesome keyword research to determine if you need to shift your marketing because you are getting the wrong kind of traffic. If you see in analytics that you are coming up for a query that is completely unrelated or useless, use that information, find out why, and then either switch your focus or figure out how to change their focus and convert.
