Great point Leo. Creating attractive, effective landing pages is very much within the reach of any site owner or small business and WordPress does make clean, professional site design much easier and much more affordable to the SMB.

The importance of having a clear, precise CTA cannot be understated.

I’m a big fan of WordPress so I’m just gonna say this: SMBs should stick with WP and use one of the thousands of themes out there which easily let you create landing pages similar to the Ion and SEOmoz ones.
