Lately, I have been focusing on making better use of the visitors I receive. One site, in particular, was receiving a bit of traffic, but the conversion level was low. Although I have been fighting to get this site out of the sandbox, I was ignoring the traffic it was receiving from Yahoo! So I asked someone to take a look at the site and tell me what they thought. It is amazing what fresh eyes can do for you. One suggestion was made. Move the all-important conversion link up a few lines. I moved it up and conversions doubled immediately. The lesson for today is: Do not ignore the traffic you get, even if it is low. I took five minutes out of my SEO day to make a simple change on the site, and the results were incredible. My rankings didn't change, but the income definitely did.
