I was not aware there was a wordpress plugin though – so maybe that will help. I just have a hard time remembering the markdown syntax and so I just go back to using shortcuts I know to bold and italics in an editor.

Do you still find markdown to be useful?

It prevents me from falling out of my flow.

I also like it that I can work anywhere with any text editor.

What I do miss when writing this way is dropping in images as I go, something I’m used to do when I work in WIndows Live Writer.

But yes, effectively this is very cool and very geek 🙂
